Valkyrie’s $10M Fund Raising Ends Successfully

Many important personalities in the crypto space registered their presence at the fund raising and Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin, was not left out.

Valkyrie Investments, which is well known for handling digital assets for people and its support for BTC ETF, finished its Series A funding round targeted at $10 million. The result signified that people are still in the business of investing in cryptocurrency.

Chrlie Lee wasn’t the only one present. Others were XBTO, UTXO Management, 10X Capital among other companies. Other people of interest included the founder of Tron, Justin Sun, and CJ Wilson, a popular baseball player.

Leah Wald, the CEO of Valkyrie, said part of her aim in introducing the fundraising was to create an opportunity for people to invest. She noted that the money realized through the process is also geared towards introducing other valuable investment options.

Charlie Lee agreed totally with the CEO as he said:

“Leah and Steven have a great vision for how they want to bring investment opportunities to market, and I couldn’t be happier to support them on this journey.”

Investors in Valkyrie can try their hands on any of the three available options namely: Bitcoin, Algorand, and Polkadot. Early this year, Valkyrie applied to the SEC to allow its Bitcoin ETF go public under their platform but up till now, that request is yet to be granted.

The last investment opportunity granted by Valkyrie shows that the company is interested in the growth of crypto startups. This is heart-warming in the face of the continuous bearish market in BTC and other popular cryptocurrencies.
