NASCAR Driver Chooses Crypto Payment in New Deal

Landon Cassill has opened up to the fact that he likes crypto just like some other pilots and would love to be paid in it.

Landon Cassill is a known car racer who takes part in the NASCAR Xfinity series. Some of his earnings will now be paid to him in BTC and LTC with the help of Voyager, a crypto broker.

The Associated Press said today that Voyager will start paying Landon Casill in crypto for the next 19 years. The professional car racer opted for two types of crypto namely Bitcoin and Litecoin.

The NASCAR car racer is known to be quite conversant with cryptocurrencies and has reportedly made profits in Litecoin markets. Even his display picture on Twitter is significant for a car racer who has an eye on cryptocurrencies. Landon tweeted today that he is also knowledgeable in crypto mining.

Cassil admits that there are drivers like him who use crypto but that his decision to be paid in digital assets stems on the fact that he has been using them for a very long time now and is very convinced about their monetary value. His aim is to sell the coins as soon as they land or keep them for a longer time if he anticipates profits by doing so.

There have been other NASCAR drivers in the past who declared their support for crypto. For example, Darrell Wallace drove a BTC labeled car for Square Cash during a NASCAR racing series. Another person like that was Ed Carpenter who drove a BTC labeled car in May belonging to the CEO of Zap, Jack Mallers, a bitcoin investment firm.
